Ethan’s background is multi-disciplinary at its core. He began his path as a musician and audio producer, and grew into writing and editing (natural products, education, power electronics). Through the years he’s worked as an event producer, media manager, and videographer, spurring partnerships across communities, non-profits, educators, and leaders of all types. All along the way, his primary aim has been to focus his passions on work and organizations that directly help people and make the world a better place.
At Carrot, Ethan works with participants and evaluators to facilitate competitions and provides all kinds of program & technical support to the Carrot team. In addition to his work with Carrot, most recently Ethan managed communications for public speakers doing social policy work (Communication Across Barriers), and content for an LED lighting designer. Ethan resides in Portland, Oregon and spends his free time enjoying the pacific northwest, making music, and photography.
